Amnesty International has long fought for the freedoms that are being suppressed in Russia. Therefore, during the football championship in Russia, we introduced an “unofficial ball” reflecting the reality of Russia today to a global audience. The ball is printed with the rights and freedoms that are being kicked and abused in Russia every day, not just during the championship. Our Unkickaball ball was the first football designed not to be kicked. Influencers and ordinary members of the public signed the ball as a petition, and it subsequently made the news headlines.
