The Kaufland has been a partner of Slovak ice hockey for years. When the players score on the ice, we are there.But there are many other brands, right next to us. That's why we needed to differentiate ourselves.

Insight

We have found an opportunity that no brand has yet taken advantage of. Injuries! These are as emotional and closely watched as the game itself. We found an insight that all athletes can identify with. They attach a bag of frozen vegetables to their injuries.

Idea

We have created a unique product — a cooler bag that looks like frozen vegetables.We made him a sponsorship tool, saying that we are with hockey players not only in good times like everyone else, but also in bad times.

This is exactly what our campaign starring Libor Hudáček and a bag of vegetables is based on.

When someone is injured, the first thing they put on a sprained ankle or a broken knee is a frozen vegetable.

Since Kaufland knows that athletes need quality regeneration in addition to a good diet, he uses this insight from households and receives frozen vegetables for professional sports.

The campaign was a huge success in Slovakia, but also abroad. Among the biggest achievements of the campaign are 2 shortlists at Cannes Lions 1x gold and 2x silver on Golden Drum or Golden Nail in the category digital campaign.

The hockey carrot won the Golden Nail in the New Media category, the Silver Nail in the Media — Sponsorship and special events category.
